Cover crops
We use cover crops as often as possible in our growing season. We have always prioritized diversity, however, cover crop diversity alone did not reduce pest and disease incidence and in certain cases increased it. Now we are selecting cover crop species to reduce crop pests, increase soil organic matter, cycle nutrients, and maintain diversity.
